"We cannot protect something we do not love, we cannot love what we do not know, and we cannot know what we do not see. And touch. And hear.”

Our Vision

We believe in the benefits of a close knit community, so we stay small and strive to serve primarily homeschooling families and their children. Operating entirely outdoors and in open spaces, we hope to be able to offer your children a safe space and the opportunity to connect with nature, explore their local environment and learn, guided by their sense of wonder and curiosity. We hope to be able to provide a space for your children to build meaningful connections and relationships with other children on this wild journey and gain confidence in their authentic self expression.  We hope to collectively work towards fostering a sense of stewardship towards the land and all that it provides for us and our communities by learning from nature together.

Community Garden

Leaf

In the spring of 2023, we were fortunate enough to be able to acquire a large garden plot at the Sepulveda Basin Community Garden. Our intention with the garden is to offer our students a space to grown their own fruit, vegetables and flowers through the seasons. We want to offer the children the opportunity to produce food, learn science skills, and develop ecological values at the same time. Incorporating seasonal garden activities, inquiry projects, and workshops we are helping our students develop ecological stewardship, a positive land ethic, and vital life long skills that will last a lifetime.
